Hi Max,

I am reminded of my comment back on December 28, 2023, with the first installment of Adam and Eve:

Now, you bring the citation up here, Genesis 1 vs. 26-31, and it seems more clear than ever. God must create Man first as male-female, i.e., androgynous, but the actual separation takes place with the Lord God of actualization, beginning in Genesis 2:4. This is all part of the "image" and "likeness" dichotomy that God also foresees in the first six/seven days. Thus, Eve's temporal creation from the rib of Adam is necessary for sexual differentiation. It establishes the basis for the procreative Generations of Adam and Eve, which begins in Genesis 5.

I am reminded also that Steiner indicated in a number of places that a man has a female etheric body, and a woman has a male etheric body. And, if we consider the little recognized fact that Elijah, the Hebrew Folk Soul, had a comrade in Elisha, who demanded full responsibility for the furtherance of the task for the Hebrews, including the leather belt, we would better see that a male-female aspect is involved here in the Hebrew migration.

The forming of Elijah-Elisha as the Hebrew Folk Soul, is a really interesting study. Steiner describes it very well in the 8th lecture of the Gospel of Mark:

https://rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA139/English/AP1986/19120922p01.html

Herein, he tells of Phinehas, son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, nephew of Moses, who was a zealot for the Lord God, ref. Numbers 25. After his death, the Lord God in seeing that the Hebrews needed their own Folk Soul in order to keep them out of trouble, elevated Phinehas to a higher rank, and he became Elijah. As such, Elijah bore both male and female affinities. It is said that Elijah performed eight miracles, and Elisha sixteen. Elisha was outwardly male, but bore a decidedly female nature. Ref. 1 Kings 17, and 2 Kings for the work of Elijah and Elisha.

There is a wonderful scholarly book I would recommend from 1968, by Leilah Leah Bronner, that describes it all. The title is: The Stories of Elijah and Elisha as Polemics Against Baal Worship.

The unmistakable factor is that when Elijah retired, and passed the mission of the Hebrew Folk Soul over to Elisha, that Elisha wanted the "full Monty", so to speak, including the leather belt of the Tishbite. It is said that John the Baptist also wore one of these around his camel hair coat, and eating locusts and wild honey. He was the cousin of Jesus.

It is because of you, and your beautiful Theoria Substack, with its articles of renown, that I began to remember this former work of mine, and thought I might be able to publish it to a larger audience. As such, one of the features of Whitsunday is the vitalization of memory, toward self-remembering. This, then, becomes what Rudolf Steiner indicated in the first of the Foundation Stone Meditations: "Practice Spirit Recollection in Depths of Soul." Thus, the floodgates have opened up again.

I believe that every contribution adds to the story, and my enthusiasm is always for the primary writer. I know that it might look otherwise to some, but I can't help my inclination to write in further support here. The theme of the original Man, and then Adam and Eve is hugely significant. We have barely pierced even the first twelve days of Creation. Twelve Days? Yes, the seven plus the five. Thanks Max, for this further foray into the logistics of what it could all possibly mean. In 2024, it seems to me that it is all about what it means. Thanks.
