Levity is life, which is ultimately love. The profundity of this, exemplified through Ruskin's elucidation of the "bigger picture" of Newton's mythical observation, once cognized, is retained in consciousness as a seed, which may, if allowed to grow, flower into direct knowledge of the higher forces.

Am curious, outside of Lehrs' Man or Matter, I have been unable to find any historical data on the Contra Levitatem Maxim. It is clearly enforced, through the "only what can be weighed and measured" dictum, which unfortunately, has somehow engendered the vacant metaphysics of theoretical physics and astrophysics to pervade and distort the direction of scientific philosophy in our current era.

Would appreciate any more direct evidence of the actual document/text if you have come across anywhere.

Many thanks!
