WHO claims to understand the paths of grace?
I took my soul, and its most purest part
gleaned, and then decanted to my heart
the vessel in which I this part encased
into thy hand this precious pearl I placed
into thy keeping gave this work of art
and from myself I felt it then depart
to discover it anew within thy face
but darkness began to creep into thine eye
your comely face, from me you turned away
at once our erstwhile springing well went dry
grief beset me all throughout the night and day
but drop by drop the nectar found its way
to my brimming heart, my soul soars high
and now I’d like to give it till I die

The way in which you exhale poetry through both sorrow and joy is phenomenal. Wonder-filled!
Beautiful! I’m still on the first line! Lol! I love it ! How could anyone ever claim to understand the paths of Grace? It seems to be as in the very synapses of thought from one cell to another some mysterious electric force
